Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location was exceptional, right beside the Highland Wildlife Park and offering easy access to Aviemore, with ample parking options. The rooms were spacious but needed airing before use, and some care is required in their upkeep. The service was friendly and welcoming, especially when addressing concerns about the attic room initially provided. Dining options were good, although hot plates were necessary, and the cold buffet needed improvement. Value for money was worthwhile for extras before outdoor activities.
The hotel offers basic rooms larger than most in this price range, suitable for short stays. The service was understanding but noisy at night. The stunning location is convenient, close to essential amenities. The dining experience was good, and the staff were helpful.
The hotel had its highs and lows. While the location was superb, being close to Avimore and just next to the railway station, the rooms left much to be desired with the awkward layout and poor Wi-Fi. The service, however, was top-notch with a warm welcome and accommodating staff.
